Activities : Park City could certainly stake a rightful claim of being the “perfect mountain town.” Combining its silver mining town heritage, an artistic vibe and a deep appreciation for the outdoors, Park City strikes a balance between luxury and comfort, all the while showing a deep appreciation for athletics, arts and community. Whatever your daily activity may be, you'll work up an appetite for the diversity of fine restaurants that line Park City's Historic Main Street and beyond, and you'll want to wind down after a long day with the craft whiskeys and vodkas at the High West Distillery and Saloon.

Airport : The Heber Valley Airport (KHCR) - Russ McDonald Field - is located 1 mile south of Heber City, Utah in the beautiful Heber Valley. The airport is a short 20 minute drive to Park City, Deer Valley, and the Sundance resort. Eighty five airplanes of various types are based at the Russ Mcdonald Field, and the transient traffic ranges from light pistons to heavy turbines - up to Gulfstream G650 and Global Express. Runway 04/22 weight bearing capacity is 142,500 lbs for dual wheel, with a PCN of 32/F/B/X/T.

Attractions :Just outside of downtown Park City, at 7,300 ft. elevation, the Utah Olympic Park still buzzes with excitement and enthusiasm that one might have expected 15 years ago when the Park hosted five events during the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games: bobsled, skeleton, luge, and the Nordic combined events. During that time though, the Park looked much different than it does today. Hundreds of media vans, buses, and semi-trailers filled the parking lots where dozens of nations broadcast race results across the globe of their athlete's success' and frustrations. Fans from around the world crowded the mountainside to cheer and support their nations and compatriots. And although the two weeks of those games have long passed, the exhilaration of those sports is still electric in the brisk mountain air.

Attractions :Start exploring the mountain earlier thanks to new snowmaking capabilities on Red Pine Road, a major connector trail off of Tombstone Express. More snow allows for this trail to open earlier in the season and provide access to even more terrain across the mountain. More access, more terrain, more adventures ready when you are.

Dining :If variety is the spice of life, then Park City Utah is a very zesty town. Park City is home to many award-winning restaurants reflecting many different culinary styles and influences. With more than 150 restaurants and bars in Park City, Utah, there's something for every taste and every mood and since everything's so close, they're all within walking distance or accessible by a short ride on the free city-wide transportation system. Events : With the exception of a few accurate classifications that are tough to deny—like breathtakingly beautiful and utterly unforgettable—Park City isn't so keen on labels. It's not a place for a specific type. You don't have to self-identify as a skier, movie buff, artist, or foodie to come here, though, if you do, you'll receive a warm welcome and have lots to keep you busy. A wide assortment of year-round events offers fun and entertainment—however you personally define it.

Golf : You can golf in Park City the same day you fly in. It's true. Park City golf courses are less than an hour away from Salt Lake City International Airport. The hard part is deciding which Park City golf course you should play first. Park City and the surrounding area are home to seven public and eight private courses.

Government : The Park City Emergency Program Manager works in the Executive Department under the general direction of the City Manager. Emergency Management is a core public safety function that prepares, plans, mitigates, responds and recovers from local emergencies and disasters.

Hospitals : Orthopedics requires precise physicians, leading technology, and a team approach. Intermountain Healthcare's orthopedic doctors and surgeons provide individualized treatment for a variety of conditions and body areas at convenient locations.

Shopping : Hit the Park City shops when the time comes (if ever) to take a break from all there is to do Park City, Utah. We're talking shopping for everything from handmade furniture, books and sportswear to art collectibles and Western antiques. Historic Main Street is lined with quaint shops and galleries.

Downtown : Whether you're visiting Salt Lake for business or pleasure, you're in for a great time.
