You can golf in Park City the same day you fly in. It's true. Park City golf courses are less than an hour away from Salt Lake City International Airport. The hard part is deciding which Park City golf course you should play first. Park City and the surrounding area are home to seven public and eight private courses.
Once you've chosen a course - perhaps one designed by William Neff or a Rees Jones championship course, or our local Park City Golf Club, your next challenge will be to master the art of hiding your shock over how much further your ball soars. Go ahead and tout the bragging rights of your improved game to friends back home. We'll keep your secret about how our mountain location actually adds distance to your shot. And it certainly doesn't hurt your game when you play in summer temperatures that are generally milder than many other golf destinations.
When an idyllic, vista-filled day of Park City golfing is over, reward your hard work on the course with Park City's endless options for mouthwatering cuisine and refreshing libations on Historic Main Street and throughout town. Again, more decisions. But you can't go wrong here.
Canyons Golf

Our course winds through 97 acres in the heart of Canyons Village, featuring over 550 feet of elevation change with spectacular views of the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains and surrounding valleys. The 18 hole, 6,000 yard, par-70 course, designed by renowned course architects Gene Bates and Casey Bates, offers 18 holes of challenging and enjoyable golf characterized by memorable shots with dramatic views.
Park City Golf Club

18 Hole Municipal golf course, open to the public. There is an eight-station driving range, two practice greens, and a putting green.
Tee Times: The Park City Golf Club takes reservations seven (7) days in advance. There is a maximum of two tee times per reservation. Any reservation made before 3:00 pm is an 18-hole reservation, 9 hole times can be reserved after 3:00 pm, and before 8:00 am.
Players must be at least 7 years of age to play, and at least 16 years of age to be a non-playing spectator. All players must have their own clubs.
Club Rentals: We offer top-of-the-line demos for our rental clubs. Choose Callaway, Titleist or Taylor Made. The fee is $30 for 18, $15 for nine holes. We do offer high-end rentals clubs.
*Please no outside coolers allowed on the course.
Lessons: The Park City Golf Club offers a variety of lessons and programs to help you take your game to the next level or introduce you to the fundamentals of the game. Private instruction is available from PGA Professionals and provides you the one-on-one attention to quickly learn golf skills and methods to correct faults. Reservations are required for lessons.
Soldier Hollow Golf Course

Soldier Hollow is a 36 hole course designed by Gene Bates. The two 18-hole courses at Soldier Hollow were designed with different clientele in mind, although most golfers can play either. They are named "Gold" and "Silver" to reflect the Olympic Heritage of the site. The Silver is the tamer of the two, slightly shorter with wider fairways. The Gold is the Championship course with narrower, more undulating fairways, tee shots requiring longer carry and trickier greens. Both courses have five tees on each hole, with approximately an 1,800-yard difference from the back tees to the front tees on each of the courses. Between the two 18s, there are 150 bunkers, including more fairway bunkers than your average course.
